These 120mm fans with the multi-loop light effect look dope in person, particularly on the white edition of these fans. These fans are available in black and white colors. It would be great to see a Mystic Light/ICUE partnership develop with functional support for MSI MB's and peripherals.PCCOOLER has launched new fans named EF120 A-RGB.
That and perhaps reach out to the Corsair ICUE team to coordinate support for their plugin, see below. One last request for the Mystic Light team, open up the lower end Temperature RGB effect setting for editing in Mystic Light, it's currently locked at 50c. Fortunately ICUE is also updated frequently. I'll cross my fingers the Mystic light update resolves, can't say I'm confident however. Reset their plugins and functionality returns and then eventually fails again.
It also happens with other effects like rainbow but that effect continues it's just if you try to change to another effect you won't be able to, it remains locked on rainbow. I've had it run for up to an hour successfully, it would seem when temperatures are fluctuating more rapidly generating more frequent color changes will increase the chances of a freeze. Using their CPU temperature effect for example will work for several minutes then freeze on a color and stop updating with temperature changes. That's my issue their plugin times out/crashes after a few minutes and ceases to take input or make color changes. ICUE can control MSI MB ARGB/RGB/PCH & IOCOVER ports through their MSI plugin which I believe uses the Mystic light SDK. I'm hoping someone can look at this or if they see any issues with my setup to let me know. Since the ICUE MSI plugin also requires the MSI Mystic Light SDK it's also possible it's an issue with Mystic Light's SDK. Not having Corsair fans, that port is useless to me.
Corsair forum support seems oblivious to the fact they even have a MSI plugin which is hilarious and claim support only via the JCorsair port. All I could come up with is it's a bug in the current ICUE MSI plugin. Each fan has 12 LED's so I should be well within the tolerance of 75 LED's on JRainbow 2 and Jrainbow 1 has the SATA 5v to power the other fans and strip LED's via the splitter. I have 7 Artic P12 ARGB fans and an O11 EVO case strip attached into one 12 port SATA/ARGB splitter plugged into JRainbow1 and another 3 Artic P12 ARGB fans are plugged directly into JRainbow2. The Corsair RAM and ASUS 3060 continue to function with ICUE, only the MSI MB ARGB ports cease to update. Reset the plugin in ICUE will fix it for a few minutes and then it locks up again. My problem is the ICUE MSI Motherboard plugin times out after a few minutes and ceases to update color changes or take RGB configuration changes. It looks like ICUE 4.23.137 supports MSI motherboards which is great since it's the only RGB software that sees my ASUS Strix 3060 in addition to Corsair RAM and MSI motherboard.
